I've decided to take the challenge. My name is Michelle and I'm going to write about one person a day for 365 days. I will write about the people who have touched my life in some way and I'm going to share a bit about each memory with you. It's decidedly easier to begin with the people I am the least emotional about. How will I fit the dearest into 38 words? By grace, I will do just that and the how of it all remains to be seen. My dear husband, three children and old, fat dog and I live in a small town in the Great Midwest. I am a lampworker. I make glass beads in a torchflame. I am more than curious to see how all of this works itself out here. My life, on screen, at 38ish words a day. If you choose to go along for the ride, then welcome to my life. Welcome to my heart.

Jill

Of course I looked up to her. Jill was older and smarter, too. "Do you want to have second helpings of dessert or desert?", she asked. "Then dessert always has two s's!". The lesson stuck these last 29 years. I was right about that girl.
